A non-standard workforce needed a better answer.

A ride-load company wanted to strengthen its competitive position by attracting a larger, more reliable network of 1099 independent truck drivers. To create meaningful value for drivers, the company sought to provide protection each time a driver accepted and transported a load — a model known as load-based protection.

IMAC designed a bundled protection solution focused on what drivers value most while on the road: their rig, their personal well-being, and their cell phone. For independent drivers, a working cell phone is essential to scheduling loads, completing deliveries, communicating in real time, and receiving payment for services rendered.

To meet these needs, IMAC bundled roadside assistance, on-the-job accident coverage, and cell phone protection into a practical load-based solution provided by the ride-load company to each driver while actively transporting one of its loads.
